Last we left this group they had just rescued some sort of nobleman from being eaten by some rotten goblins, the town folk are starting to whisper the name "Heroes of Sandpoint", and Ashryn is avoiding the nobleman at all costs. Our adventurers are:

Bucky, our friendly neighborhood Goblin of the fire-bombing persuasion

Wazboot, our steady Human cleric

Fallos, the outgoing Halfling swashbuckler

Splint'r, the rat-folk monk

Kajar, the Half-Elf summoner

Kajar's eidelon, a creature about the size of a large cat with a giraffe neck

Ashryn, the scarred and stoic Elven fighter

After looting the dead goblins' bodies our party returns to the town square to see if Fallos is with us again. He had previously fallen asleep mid-combat. As we arrived he was waking up, looking incredibly mad. Bucky, seeing his friend awake, buzzed right up to him like an over caffeinated toddler and spit out the entirety of our fights in under 2 minutes.

Fallos though looks a bit rough around the edges and holds out a hand to stop the barrage of high-pitched high-velocity chatter, so Bucky pulls out a water flask, turns it into mead, and hands it to him.

Father Zantus was still there and he helped Fallos to his feet and starts to talk to us again, to wrap things up. The town folk are coming back out of their houses now and dealing with their wounded and dead. Splint'r walks up to Wazboot, taps him and points to one of his wounds as he was pretty seriously hurt in the last fight. He then went ahead and healed Splint'r.

About then a timid Varisian lady comes up to Father Zantus and asks if these were indeed the Heroes of Sandpoint. Father Zantus introduces her as Amiko, which we had seen previously with one of the food carts, and she offers us lodging and food for a week at her inn if we would like. Just go to the Rusty Dragon and speak to Bethanna. Ashryn facepalms at this point. Bethanna did meet Bucky earlier as she was the young lady that had knocked over some food during the festival, and Bucky went over to help out.

But we're all hungry and a bit spent and a roof over our head and food sounds like a good tradeoff for all the town-defense we've been doing, so we wander off to find the Rusty Dragon.

Turns out the Rusty Dragon Inn is across the street from the Goblin Smasher stables where we had parked our horses upon arrival. Kajar considers parking his eidelon at the stables, but the stable-master wants to charge horse rates for a large cat.

The Rusty Dragon Inn is an older establishment and is named after the large rusty iron dragon lightning rod on the roof. But we entered in to find a fairly typical tap room going on. A few folks scattered about drinking and Bethanna the halfling scurrying around filling orders. Fallos, having been loosened up from his apparent nightmare with the mead, walks up to Bethanna to inquire about lodging. She was like oh! Another halfling! And then continues on with Oh! You must be the Heroes of Sandpoint! Amiko told me you would be coming. Lodging you say? How many rooms will you need?

As she's saying this she's dropping things and rummaging about, and after a bit of back and forth discussion we get the sleeping arrangements sorted out. Bethanna then notices Splint'r sniffing the air and drops everything again and goes Oh! You must be hungry! and scurries off again, coming back out of the kitchen with several bowls of soup. Several more trips, for she excels at dropping and spilling things, we're seated at a table enjoying some good food. A few also partake of ale or mead, to the point that Fallos is a bit tipsy.

At this point the Sheriff arrives at the Rusty Dragon, looks about the room for a moment and spots us. He comes up, greets us and says Father Zantus has found something odd in the cemetery, and all of my town guardsmen are busy with other tasks, will you take a look? We all look at each other for a moment as the Sheriff points out that Father Zantus says it's probably nothing but it is fairly urgent, so Bucky pretty much bounces out of his seat going "Lets! GO!" as Ashryn stuffs her helm back on her head.

And that's where we left off. Managed to get food, haven't gotten a rest.
